Something is shifting with the cat allergy. I am still allergic, but not as intensely as I used to be. I did take a generic Claritin that Sandy had on hand which helped me be less allergenic, but also kept me awake into the night...
They also always vacuum the day before I am due to arrive and the cat is only there when they are, on weekends, and it's only been two months since they moved in.
I hope you get to visit the cabin some day. It is a wonderful haven. They have been working very hard on fixing it up. It is beautiful.
The cat is in her last stage of life. She is 18 and her kidneys are failing. For most of her life I could not photograph her bc I would never see her! She would always hide when people came over. Now she is mostly deaf and no longer bothered by company. I am enjoying this bit of time I am getting watching and being around her.
Sandy and Mike have a blog about the cabin: http://soren-siren.blogspot.com/ You can read/see all the details there. xo
It looks like the cat is at peace in your photo and will enjoy her time at the cabin.
Thank you for the link to the cabin blog. I'm looking forward to reading it. And yes, it would be nice to be able to see it in person some day.
I was invited up to the Maine cabin this weekend but as with the invite to Central Park I had to pass. Both would have been wonderful weekends but I think it's best that I'm staying home as things are very busy right now (not in a bad way just very tiring).

That's a big apple! And it looks like a yummy pie.
I see they have a cat at the cabin. I'm sure with all the air from the great outdoors it might not bother you as much :-)

It's good the cat doesn't bother you too much so you can enjoy the cabin. It sure looks like a beautiful spot (and a cute cat).
