Where now leads

An easy-to-make and delicious snack: wheat-free tamari almonds.

3 cups raw almonds (if you can afford it, go for organic)
3 Tbs wheat-free tamari

• preheat oven to 375º
• spread almonds on baking sheet and bake at 375º for 8 minutes (if your oven is unreliable, like mine, start checking the nuts for burning at the 6 minute mark.  you do not want these to burn!)
• place almonds right into a mixing bowl and pour in the wheat-free tamari
• stir well, but gently
• spread almonds back out onto the baking sheet and cool
• store in an airtight container (I put mine in the fridge.)

Playing with the kids.  Is it just me, or am I "lighter"?

Delving into "Inquiry" which is what the second part of Geneen Roth's book is about.  Interesting stuff.  Making me realize that the insecurity I shouldered much more consciously as a child and teen is still present...under the surface.
