This season of Mad Men is killing me. The writing is lean and lyrical, the visuals are rich and engaging, the performances are nuanced and layered... I cannot say enough about how deeply satisfying these episodes are. So much payoff for folks who have been watching from the start.
I'm brimming with arty hormonal emotion. Off to pick up the kids and then on to a me-included play date.

Hi,
Thanks for the link to the dad who is blogging about his son's science teacher/creationism....very interesting. Not something we have to deal with in Massachusetts!
I am looking forward to the sequels.
He posted one today! Let me know if you need the link again. xo
I agree. I am loving Mad Men this season. I have always loved Peggy and she's been getting some great scenes - so that's fantastic. I also just love John Hamm. After seeing him on 30 Rock and the opening of the Emmy's it really makes me appreciate the stripped down, self-serious Don Draper that he portrays. And poor Sally - that girl's got it rough.
I am with you on all points. To see Peggy and Don duke it out in this week's ep...it was SO satisfying, so well done all around.
The stuff with Sally is fascinating and intense...that kid can act!
