New playground

We now have a new playground a short walk from our place. It's cool. It's a universal playground designed so that children with special needs have access to the structure, swings, and grounds.

This afternoon we walked over with Silke and the kids. The ice on the pond is melting in patches, but the geese were walking about and looking very cute.




These three had a blast running about, playing a tag game of their own creation. Sag sat out because he doesn't like tag games. He swung, and watched them, and climbed. Silke and I had some time to catch each other up on the goings on of our lives.


Later on, at home, we snacked on banana bread. Yum.
