A date on the playground was followed by noshing at our place. (A first attempt at a new GF tortilla recipe came out tasty, but odd shaped...a tortilla press has definitely taken root in my future.)Pippa chose yesterday to be the day to start climbing on playground equipment. (Always such an honor to be present for milestones like that.) Lila chose yesterday to be the first time she came with me without her mom when she walked back to our house with us rather than drive over with Kelly and Pippa. (The honor here being obvious!)
After nourishing our bodies, we bid a hasty good-bye so I could make it to my appointment with Vinny on time. With promises to get together for sushi-making at week's end.
