Sag's name day

Cap handed me this bunch of flowers last night and said they looked like colors I would want to knit with. Who is such a good mate? Yes he is.

He baked a loaf of nisu (Finnish cardamom bread) for Sag's name day breakfast (our family tradition). He tweaked the recipe even a bit more than usual and turned out his best loaf yet, in my opinion.

Sag' choice of banana-strawberry-orange juice in our ceramic cups from Kanazawa (my paternal grandfather's hometown).

His special day today.

Checking out his little gift---a C3PO toy.

Does that look like a GFCF yeast bread to you? Gorgeous. Know the possibilities.

Claps for the cook!

Once the room cleared out, I enjoyed some imported prosciutto from Faicco's Pork Store. (Thanks, Mike :-)

And another piece of nisu.

Happy name day to our second born.
