Gratitude

Mike D.'s aunt sent some homemade eggplant parm along last time he visited us. She ruined eggplant parm for me forever. It was that good.

Mike is here again, in town for a wedding. On Monday he's heading up to CT and he and his aunt will drive down to FL for some R&R with his folks, who are her brother and sister-in-law.

I'm sending along this scarf for her. She won't need it in Florida, but hopefully it will keep her cozy at home this winter.

Pattern: One Row Handspun
Yarn: Rowan Tapestry (70% wool 30% soy)
Needles: Size 6 bamboo straights

Wow. Nice.

You have one bunch of lucky friends. Seriously.

I like this one you've made more than the one shown in the original pattern (though I like that one, too.) This one is more ...delicate. Maybe it's the smaller size needle? So very pretty. The photos of your finished work are so inspiring to me! Thanks for posting :)

Love, Kelly

Thanks babe.

The yarn has a very delicate look to it. I think the soy gives it a sheen and a wispiness. I really like the colors in this yarn.

Love that scarf! (Not as much as I love mine, though!!!)
