I was not a Donna Summer fan...in the 70's, I hated disco and was too much of a hippie/rebel to participate. That said, her music has endured and been part and parcel of many parties I've attended and we all loved to dance to these hits.
On another note, I was in high school when Richard Harris first recorded "McArthur Park" and we all thought it was a psychedelic rant....but apparently not!
