I'm glad your scarf is keeping you warm. It's got cold here yesterday, but I know it's been colder up there for awhile.
The magic of Julie's scarf is the yarn.
The design is actually a simple garter stitch scarf (the knit stitch repeated over and over again --- good for knitting while doing other things like watching tv), but because the yarn has the flecks of color spun into it, the resulting effect is more complex.
I was drawn to this yarn many times over many visits to the yarn shop because I love the colors of it. It was fortuitous to finally have an "event" for which I could purchase it and use it.
I wore my new scarf out this morning and one of the other mom's was complimenting it. It's a sign of excellent craftsmanship when the scarf gets noticed first time out.
BTW, I don't know if I've told you that I use my blue Julie-made bag for knitting needles storage and my red Julie-made bag to hold small-in-size knitting projects. I love my bags!

Of course I love my scarf and I've been using it often this fall.
Thanks, Jaim.
