...and in this case, on YouTube :-)
Regina Spektor was first brought to my attention by Anna.
This morning, I was cruising YouTube, as has become my habit, and I was listening to all the different covers of what I thought of as the "Weeds" theme song. I love the song even more now that I know that it was written by Malvina Reynolds in 1962. Another example of the more things change, the more they frikkin' stay the same.
I remember watching Season 2 of Weeds and enjoying hearing the different voices singing the same song. I thought it was a great idea then.
Regina Spektor was one of the artists selected to sing that season. And from listening to that clip, I was led to this one, which I loved. I found it matched my uplifted mood and so here it is.

She's kinda like what would happen if Tori Amos and Kate Bush had a baby.
Sidenote:
Hey - just a design not. The blue colored font you're using that indicates links is really hard to read. I don't know if anyone else has found that but I can barely make stuff out.
Thanks for the design note. On my end, the link words are a darker shade of the blog background color, not the lavender, so I didn't realize that adjustment had gone through. I'll switch it up, let me know how it looks!
YES - I can see everything now. Much better. Thanks.
I absolutely love Malvina Reynolds "Little Boxes" song/lyrics and have enjoyed all the different renditions ("Weeds" theme song)!! This Regina Spektor...wow...amazing voice!! And really cool how the vibe is fitting with my mood this morning!! Had it playing on full blast :)
Very cool, Chrissy...you've got a big day today, right? Glad it's starting out right :-)
