The weather

In between games of Blue's Clues Memory (one of Gem's childhood faves) and Carcassonne the kids and I stepped out for some fresh air.  The sky was darkening and I got a headache from the pressure system bearing down.

It's okay, though, because the air has been getting cooler and drier with each passing hour.  Ahhhh...

We started a new read aloud book today.  Wildwood by Colin Meloy (of The Decemberists), illustrated by his partner, Carson Ellis.
