I am getting into sautés of ground meat and veggies. The veggies are whatever is available from the CSA share, supplemented today by scallions and garlic I picked up from John at the farmer's market yesterday. Ground meat, as "low shelf" as it is, tastes pretty darn good when it is coming fresh from a local source.
I have been in search of a unique, well-designed salt shaker for awhile. This afternoon I spotted this on a recently decluttered kitchen shelf. Perfect. Now I just have to figure out how to open it... (It's an old Dansk piece of my parents' that I grew up with...)
I've been dizzy all day. An inner ear thing brought on my hormones/PMS. This is a symptom I don't get every month, thank goodness, but when I do, I know enough to just stay put (missing a party as I type). It usually passes in about 12 hours.
Off to read or catch up on Burn Notice...and keep this head still.

You are right. Good to know the other one doesn't (I've been tugging at it :-)
I still can't get it open, though.
