Walking the plank

Our landlord had the old stone flats removed and the walkway paved with concrete. Made me feel a bit rueful, but the way the walkway would slicken, dangerously, in heavy rain (the mud) or wintry conditions, was a problem.

I know just how you feel. I love the look of old stones. But if danger is an issue then I think the landlord is making a wise decision.

Looks like the boys are enjoying the plank!
